Interested in subjects relating to aesthetics, economics and ideology, Wayne is an art practitioner whose works are psycho-sensorial assemblages of the everyday. He often thinks about (other) ways to perform /or resist — in order to transgress the defined notions of aesthetics and research — through self-publishing, self-organization, and developing (long-term) collective projects. Wayne has shown and presented his works between Europe and Asia, as well as participated in residencies in Chiangmai (2012), Istanbul (2015), Biella (2016), Romainmôtier (2017), and Singapore (2021).

Co-leading AWKNDAFFR between 2018-2023, they directed a 2-days symposium-festival in 2019, and later on were part of the Associate Artists Programme at The Substation (2020-2021). He is also the co-editor (with Soh Kay Min) of Can, Cannot, and Other Options: Between Defiance and Desire, Towards Fuller Lives, self-published in 2021. Most recently, AWKNDAFFR was commissioned for Singapore Biennale 2022: Natasha with an expansive multi-authored and multi-sited endeavour titled, Islandwide Coverage.

Graduated in 2017 from the Dutch Art Institute in the Netherlands, Wayne currently lives and works in Singapore.
